A certain man had two sons. One day he came to them and said; " I will be going away for a while, but will
be coming back. I want you both to go out into the vineyard and tend to the vines and weed the gardens till
I return. The first son said, I'm not going out, it's too hot! The second son said, Father I'll go, you can count
on me!"
After their Father had departed, the first son realizing he was wrong , repented of his words and went out
to work in the fields. The second son, seeing how hot it was outside, decided, no one is around , so I'm not
going to be a fool and work out there.
When the Father returns, which of the sons shall he reward....and which of His sons will He punish?

"the Church  that does not set standards, soon has none!"

If anything were said to characterize
our lives together, it would be the oft
asked question, "well, what did Jesus
do and say about it?".
The answer always goes to Scripture,
where we see our Lord teach and lead
by example, yet calling us brothers and sisters.
" Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions
and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need."
 ACTS 2:44-45
ACCOMODATIONS: We each have a room (or rooms)
sufficient for our needs, be they couples  or singles.
The rest of the farmhouse is shared by all; bathroom,
kitchen, dining etc. As more family space is needed, ie.,
children, we move and adjust.
MEALS: We eat all meals together. We are summoned by the
sisters by the bell. (Breakfast is at 07:00; Dinner at 12 noon; and
supper at 5:00pm) We have a snack break at 10 am and 3pm.
This times should be flexible and are given to let us know what
happens when.
Also note; the sisters work hard in the kitchen, so it
is a tradition that the men do the dishes!
DRESS: Our dress is plain and is a statement of our stand
against the falling standards of this society. Sisters, per the
Bible, (1 Cor.11: 10 ), wear the Christian womans head
covering during meeting, prayer times, as a sign of
obedience denoting proper headship in the family and Gods
order of creation.
WORK: At present we have sufficient income, and all share in work
about our farm; this includes chores in the house. If it is needed, we
can have some brothers work outside on a temporary basis, giving what
is earned to the common purse. There are no bosses among us, only
brothers and sisters.
EDUCATION: We shall always home-school our children, as
the public system is not condusive to a Christian upbringing.
If and when further education is needed, ie. Technical,
nursing school etc., decision will be made by the community
MEETINGS:  We gather on the Lords' Day at 10:30 for prayer,
teaching and worship in song as per the early Church. A meal is
shared by us all afterwards. This meeting is open to the public as is
our Bible study and prayer on Tuesday evenings. Other meetings for
community issues and needs are for adult members only
(Gemeindestunde...Church hour), and are announced as needed.
EVANGELISM: From time to time, as led by the Holy Spirit, we
will participate in various outreach efforts to share the Good
News of Jesus. These efforts will be discussed by the
community
"So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate
their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. and the
Lord added to the Church daily those who were being saved".
