We've all heard at one time or another the saying, "I can be Holy in Church on Sundays, but, the rest of the week is the real
world." Well, by living and working "as a Church,24/7", smack dab in the middle of everyday life,we ,indeed, present our
neighbors with a demonstration plot of what the Kingdom of God can be like. We have all the problems and issues of our
neighbors only we share the burden and it is light, for we have submitted ourselves to the yoke of Jesus! ( Matt 11: 28-30 )

Gustav Landauer, the German socialist, a big influence on Eberhard Arnold and "the
father of the Kibbutz movement in modern day Israel, said, "the blood of the farmer still
flows in the veins of every urban dweller and we must teach them to re-learn the old
skills". Our farm is named in his honor.
At present we are farming our small acreage, (3 1/2 acres), using only organic
methods. We want for ourselves and our neighbors to be free of the many poisons that
infect our daily food supply. We have a 100 x200 potato field in harvest now and a
96'x30' greenhouse and a 12' 30' smaller one. Both are being planted now for a winter
harvest of beets, onions, cabbage ,spinach and a number of other "cold hardy" crops.

We also have laying chickens and ducks and shall add a milking goat this winter. We
have begun to sell our organic produce at prices way below what the local supermarket
sells their "pesticide product" for...insuring that everyone can afford organic. It' not just
for the elite.
Please know, when you visit that this is a working farm and a learning one too. If you
have skills along this way, please come and share them with us as we re-discover the
"ancient pathmarkers".

community.

comment we've had from a customer was "I resent having to use a cane! Every time I
picked up the heavy aluminum one the hospital gave me, it reminded me of my age
and growing disability. Now, when I pick up your cane,craved to look exactly like a
stick... I'm transported back to my youth...back when a kid didn't need a damn cane
,just stick to roam the woods with!!
