Welcome to
Seeking families and singles to join us living as did the early Christians when the Church was
young. We take vows of poverty, purity in relationships and obedience to the commands of our
Lord Jesus. We dress plain, taking seriously Jesus' command to be separate from this corrupt and
dying world. We share all things in common as did the early Church and Anabaptists. (ACTS 4:31-35)
We accept divorced and re-married couples, not wanting to inflict more harm on the wounded
let down by society and church.
PEACE BROTHERHOOD BIBLICAL SOCIAL JUSTICE
We live in community not only for the sake of community, but, FOR MISSION
TO THE WORLD ABOUT US !
We are an Anabaptist community, meaning a Church founded on the 3 basic tenets of
that movement of 500 years ago, (Mennonites, Amish and Hutterites), to restore the
Church of Jesus Christ as regards early beliefs, practices and conduct in relation to the
world and society around them...."what it held to and how it lived out that Faith to further
the Kingdom of God here and now on earth".
Discipleship
Brotherhood
Love / Non-Resistance
We seek to live our lives in conformity with that early Church as best as
possible, and join with the remnants that desire to do like-wise.
We live and work together on a small farm, sharing all in common. Know that
this a "WORKING" farm, not a retreat center. (if it's a retreat you seek, go to find
one, they've too often retreated and are experts on it). As Eberhard Arnold
said, "work is Love made visible".

We look to the Bible as as the inerrant Word of God, in which there are no mysteries or
conflicting teachings and embrace it in it's entirety. To give us clarity on matters or bones of
contention, we look to the oldest Christian writings known to scholars, those of The Apostolic or
Ante- Nicene Writings. This field of Biblical research, presently spear-headed by David Bercot,
provides an undeniable window into the early Church when it was young !
The task before us is daunting...death is inevitable. But we can no longer stand by and say
and do nothing while the ignorant and innocent slide into Hell. We call to parents not to
sacrifice your little ones to the materialistic gods of this evil age, that would dress children not
as gifts from God ,but ,attire them as whores from TV land. Yes, the task is daunting but, to
quote John Wesley, "you can't work a Christian to death, only to life!" The choice is clear...we
can go to our graves crying and complaining or "worn-out and victorious", having given our all
for Jesus and the Kingdom of God.
Much that we read and study and live will be uncomfortable...much will challenge long held
beliefs and practices that have enslaved us as "the status quo". It will be tough to dare to leave
the security of those many "comfort zones" as we get out of the boat in response to the
commands of our Lord Jesus. Walking on the water as Peter tried,is not comfortable...and it
never should be, it serves to remind us to keep our eyes on Jesus, not the many storms and
unstable waves that rage about us.
We hold to the foundational teaching ,seldom taught anywhere in the world today, of what the
early Church called "The teaching of The Two kingdoms". (the real Church, the whole Bible
Church verses the world systems...all of them it's God or mammon. Note their use of the word
"verses, it means ADVERSARIAL).
So, we seek the Faith that was simple, unchangeable., not needing a reverend Dr. , or paid
pulpeteer to interpret it for us....what Scripture says...it means ! They held to clear teachings
on SALVATION , BAPTISM , COMMUNION , LIFE AFTER DEATH and the TRINITY.
We don't have titles; we make decisions by uninimity (the Holy Spirit); The fields are indeed
"white unto harvest"...will you come work with us ?
2,000 years ago the early Church, workers for Jesus, turned the world upside down...may it
ever be so.
Thats what Haushaben is all about...establishing "village communities", totally devoted to
mission for Jesus and this hurting world that He loves.
.
So, come and visit, work and dream with us...we belong to
another Kingdom and value system than the one that lies around
us...
