Mission / Vision
"WE DON'T SPEAK GREAT THINGS...WE LIVE THEM"
We wish to call all Christians to heed the Word of God and come out from this evil
generation. Meaning to disassociate ourselves in such a manner as to cause
others to ask "who are you, why do you dress that way...and give a defence for
the hope that is within you!" (1 Peter 3:15)
This does not mean to close ourselves off from this hurting world, hiding in the
woods or worse yet, behind our favorite Scriptures, refusing any interaction with
the lost still "in the world".
Meet Gustav Landauer; Anarchist / Socialist,
German Jew, who was murdered by German
nationalists in 1919. His concept of de-centralized
communities is considered the model for the
Kibbutz in modern day Israel. The model of "Village
/ Communities", dreamed of by Landauer (and a
great influence on such thinkers as Eberhard
Arnold), is indeed, "an idea whose time has come".

We have housing for up to 15+ people now, and the room to build more as needed.
Our barn, named after Christian pioneer, Clarence Jordan, (Koinonia Farm,GA.), has
plenty of room for shops, plus animals down below, it's a large dairy barn.
Our greenhouse, which we have erected, will be used to grow organic vegetables
YEAR-ROUND. They will supplement our needs anas we learn to be more proficient, we
shall offer them for sale to our neighbors for less than the supermarkets sell week old
vegetables from California...all organic, healthy, and free from the commercial poisons
that are killing and crippling our whole society.
We shall also become teachers as we are taught, (we are grateful for help from the
Amish community in northern Maine as we re-learn what our ancestors knew), so that our
neighbors can do like-wise. We do not make converts...only God does! We are
interested in making friends ,who, when they trust us, may "ask for an explanation for the
Hope that they see in our lives"!
We have the room and intend to become a food bank with the goal of treating all who
might come as friends and not as "clients".
Another point of contact with our neighbors is that of a "free model-railroad club" open
to all kids and their parents. We've had a large layout donated to us because of our work
with some of the teens in this area. Many interested adults have made known their intent
of offering professional help to the club and members.
So, if you feel that God is calling you to ministry without
compromise, thats "hands-on"....that will challenge you
to live what you believe and have yearned to share with
others...call, visit and consider "walking this Way of
Jesus with us".
Mark Felix; an early Christian in Rome, giving a defense of real Christianity.
Jesus came and died to save the whole world, not just a select few...now, indeed
,is the time for Salvation.
There is such a desperate need for a "demonstration plot of the Kingdom of God
as envisioned by Eberhard Arnold and Gustav Landauer...that of "village /
communities". Places where the Kingdom concept,as taught by Jesus, can be
modeled and lived-out in real time.
So, being separate from the world, means to truly "be in the world yet not part of
it," ( it's corrupt governments, evil economic systems, it's rotten and false value
systems including " loving your enemies and killing them when the state wants you
to!").
Living as different and distinct citizens of Gods order as opposed to mammons
order (the world), helps us to clarify our stance in relation to this world and then,
with a single-mindedness, to go forth proclaiming the whole Gospel of freedom
and liberation from sin in all it's forms.
There is much said these days, about turning away from the rat-race we're
trapped in, but little is done about doing so...this is Haushaben...a return to the
future!
To quote Eberhard Arnold again, "to pray daily thy Kingdom come here on earth
as it is in Heaven and to do nothing to implement it here and NOW, is dishonest !"
